We at August Moon pride ourselves on the cleanliness and sterility of our studio. Within our studio, you will find the following sterilization devices:

Autoclave: A sterilizer that works by using steam heat and pressure to break down and kill germs and bacteria. This is an industry standard and should not be confused with a dry heat sterilizer which is nothing more than a toaster oven.

Ultrasonic: This machine cleans metal objects by using ultrasonic sound waves and a chemical bath. This replaces the much less effective method of scrubbing with a brush and cleanser.

"OK" Bags: Envelopes made of paper, plastic or a combination of both that hold tubes, needles, forceps and other items that have to be sterilized. Each bag has an indicator strip that changes color when properly sterilized.

We utilize numerous products designed to kill everything from HIV to Hepatitis at EVERY work station.
